Kirk & Stephanie: First Comes Love | San Juan Capistrano Photography

Before you get to see the photos, I have to give a little backstory. Stephanie and I met when she started working at the company I’ve been at for almost 4 years (Shout out to Church and Casualty)! She was hired on as another sales agent, and Travis had Steph ride along with me to sales calls to learn the coverage and the flow of my schpeel (spelling?). Needless to say, we probably had a little bit TOO much fun. My territory was South Central Los Angeles, part of Orange County, and also Riverside/San Bernardino. For some reason, the days she rode along with me we were either in the ghetto, or way out in the sticks. We spent a lot of time driving, thus got to know each other really well. We thought we’d experience near death situation when I honked at someone ahead of me in Compton and realized it wasn’t the BEST idea, had a board member fall asleep while I gave a presentation (complete with snoring), and she also got to experience the weird mix cds I listen to in my car. One day we’re chatting about the usual, and I say, “Hey, Steph, You should date KIRK!” I thought I was a genius! They seemed to have this natural chemistry, and their humor just totally fit (Kirk ALSO works at C&C). Steph gave me a little chuckle and said, “Yeah, Maybe…” I didn’t think anything of it and went back to my mindless chatting. I think it was a week or so later, she told me she had a confession and that they already had been out on a few dates. I like to think it was MY doing, but it really wasn’t.

On Saturday, Kirk and Steph are getting married. I couldn’t be happier for them and I’m excited to capture their big day. They are SO meant to be together and totally in love! The funny thing is, their families have been friends since Kirk and Steph were kids. Small world! Steph you are absolutely fabulous,  you make me laugh like no other, you’re an amazing friend and you are the best mom on the planet to Mady (that showed her fierceness to the camera along with K&S). Kirk is laid back, hilarious, hardworking, and it’s totally apparent how in love with Steph he is. Now, enough with my sappiness. On to the good stuff!

Isn't Mady feroche?!

great pictures!

i’m wondering…did you get a permit to take pictures in this part of town? but i’m a member of a photography group on meetup.com and the organizer/leader person there asked the group for venue/location suggestions to have photo sessions at. i’d like to suggest this location because it’s a great place for photo sessions with clients, but the organizer person wants to avoid places that may require permits.

thanks in advance!
